We applied Dixie Belle No Pain Gel Stain in Espresso to a Farmhouse tabletop that we built from 2 x 12 lumber from Lowe’s. We prepped the table with Varathane Wood Conditioner prior to staining. I find a thick gel stain is much easier to work with than a runny version of stain. This shade of Espresso is a very rich shade perfect for this big farm-style table. This piece was so pretty, just a perfect setting for family gatherings.
