Piggly Wiggly Pop Art

Description

My parents both worked at our local Piggly Wiggly, so it was an important part of my life growing up. This is a nostalgic pop art piece that is to remind us of simpler times. This is acrylic on canvas, 16 x 20, with a frame that mu husband built from 1 x 4 pine, and I painted and waxed the frame in teal and red, and distressed it with DIY clay based paints and waxes.
